Meet Nala! Born July 4th, 2022. Nala is our little lady. So many of our dogs are rough and tumble and take pride in being “ranch dogs” but Nala has a ladylike way of doing everything. She has a good healthy dose of that German Shepherd snootiness that puts you in your place without her having to say a word. Yes she will play with the basenjis at the ranch, but they should feel privileged such a great lady as herself gives them the time of day!

To her humans Nala has an easygoing temperament, she loves to please and is very offended if she does something wrong inadvertently. She loves to go exploring with car rides and hikes. Nala herds horses and works great at the ranch alongside her master. But her specialty is just being a great companion that is ready to do whatever you want to do, from hanging out on the couch watching tv to fetching sticks out by the lake.

Nala has had all her health tests including having her hips certified with the OFA.
